Field Hospital Recreation

Commemoration | Ingestre Hall
Dates From | 25 Jul 2015 to 04 Oct 2015

Ingestre with Tixall Parish Council, Ingestre Hall and Anson Primary School received £10,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a project focusing on the effects of the First World War on Ingestre & Tixall residents and their relatives.

The fascinating exhibition resulting from all the research work is now on in the Orangery of Ingestre Hall. One of the major features of the project is the Field Hospital – featuring some items from the County Museum Service - which has been recreated in the cellar of Hall.

The Exhibition will be open to the public on specific days only. Please go direct to Ingestre Orangery. Groups will then be taken to the Field Hospital.

Further information can be found on the project web-site.
