Resonance: Reflections on the Great War through artwork inspired by Staffordshire collections
Ceramicist and printmaker Stephen Dixon’s new ceramic work inspired by objects, photographs and documents relating to the First World War from archive and museum collections in Staffordshire. Stephen’s work explores our responses to the Great War a hundred years on.
5 September – 10am – 4pm : Stephen Dixon, artist in residence for the day, invites the public to contribute to an installation of commemorative mugs, which will feature in the touring exhibition. Participants can bring historic photographs and documents of family members who took part in World War I (Front Line or Home Front) to be printed onto ceramics.
