Discover what it was like in a WWI hospital. The Cavell Trust will bring their very own Field Hospital to the Market Square in Stafford. Cavell Nurses’ Trust were founded in memory of WW1 nurse Edith Cavell to support the nations nurses when they are in need. As well as nursing injured troops from both side of the conflict, Edith Cavell was executed for helping hundreds of Allied troops to escape occupied Belgium as part of the resistance movement.
